Welcome to the Camp Robin Hood Reunion
The year 2026 marks the 100 th anniversary of Camp Robin Hood for Girls, founded by Catherine E. Ruland in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, in 1926. In honor of this occasion and with the gracious cooperation of the camp property’s current owner, [name and/or church name], a reunion committee is planning a weekend-long reunion and celebration for campers from all eras of the camp’s operations, from Miss Ruland’s and Miss Drewry’s girls to Miss Duncan’s to the Gryniuks’. Highlights of the weekend will include a visit to Robin Hood on Saturday afternoon and Banquet Night that evening. Please join us in Chambersburg for reuniting with old friends, toasting our shared past, and experiencing the Magic Something once again.
Founded on the principle that girls could and should develop self-sufficiency while guided by caring, ethical adults, Camp Robin Hood was a sanctuary for young girls to explore, learn, and mature. Nestled in nature, the camp hosted countless adventures, from team sports and horseback riding to ambitious dramatic productions.
Always there was a focus on sportsmanship and manners; the “CRH” of the name also stood for “courtesy, responsibility, and honor.” It was a place where leaders were forged, lifelong friendships were formed, and unforgettable memories were made.
