Welcome to the Camp Robin Hood Alumnae page
Camp Robin Hood was an exclusive summer camp for girls that operated from 1926 to 1991. It was located on top of a mountain outside of Chambersburg, PA and provided the campers with opportunities to participate in a wide variety of outdoor activities, including horseback riding, swimming, tennis, archery, riflery, basketball, drama, and music among many others.
The year 2026 marks the 100th anniversary of Camp Robin Hood for Girls, founded by Catherine E. Ruland and Florence Heald in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, in 1926.
In honor of this occasion, and with the gracious cooperation of the camp property’s current owner, a reunion committee is planning a weekend-long reunion and celebration was held in May 2026. The gathering was open to all who attended camp through the years and included for campers and counselors, from Miss Ruland’s and Miss Drewry’s to Miss Duncan’s to the Gryniuks’ eras. Highlights of the weekend included a visit to Robin Hood as well as a celebratory “Banquet Night” dinner.
To continue the sisterhood and shared memories of this wonderful and magical place the Reunion Planning Team decided to adapt this website to further the interactions and connections of the amazing CRH women.
