Camp Robin Hood

for girls

Frequently Asked Questions

When is the reunion?

The reunion is the weekend of May 15–17, 2026, to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Camp Robin Hood’s first season. There will be a visit to the camp on Saturday midday and a banquet on Saturday evening.

Who is invited?

We welcome alumnae and friends of Camp Robin Hood from all eras.

May I bring my family member(s) or caregiver?

Absolutely! Just please be sure to list the names of all parties when you register (and prepare them for a weekend of incessant reminiscences).

Where will people be staying?

We have reserved a block of rooms at the SpringHill Suites Chambersburg, where we expect most people will stay. There are also a Country Inn and Suites and a Candlewood Suites nearby.

What will we be doing at camp?

Once you arrive at camp and check in you will get to explore camp on your own, participate in a group photo on the front steps of Lodge, meet the current owner and hear his plans for the site, enjoy a catered box lunch, sing camp songs/team cheers on the lawn, and participate in a hymn sing in Hafer.

Where will the banquet on Saturday be?

Saturday’s evening celebration will be at Grayce Gardens, 51 Plasterer Avenue, Chambersburg.  It is an indoor-outdoor space, with plenty of room for seated dining.

Can my dietary restrictions be accommodated?

We will do our best to accommodate reasonable dietary restrictions. When registering, please let us know what this means for you. We will work with you and the caterer(s) to identify suitable solutions.

Is there a dress code for the banquet?

Business casual and up—be as festive as you’d like! The venue is charming and rustic, kind of like camp. Because of the floor and ground, we recommend against stilettos, but otherwise, anything goes. (Still have your counselor sweatshirt? Bring it!)

How much does it cost, and what will my money buy me?

The reunion fees are $125 per person and will offset the costs of Saturday’s lunch, to be provided at the camp site, and evening banquet. We will also use them to cover other, minor costs incurred during the planning process. Any excess funds will be used to provide financial assistance to CRH alumnae who would like to attend.

Will the reunion fee be prorated if I attend only part of the weekend’s events?

Unfortunately, we cannot prorate the fee.

Will my reunion fee be refunded if my plans change?

We will use your event registration and reunion fees to inform the planning parameters and catering contracts. Unfortunately, we cannot refund fees for cancelations made after May 1, 2026.

Is there any financial assistance?

Talk to us.  Our email address is [email protected]. We want all Robin Hood campers to be able to attend!

What’s the registration deadline?

Registration for the reunion closed on May 1. Thank you to everyone who plans to attend we look forward to seeing you soon.

Will transportation be provided to and from the camp on Saturday?

We expect to carpool to and from the camp.

Will the reunion be accessible?

The hilltop site of camp is much as you remember it—gravelly and uneven in places—but there will be ample parking on the green, and most of the buildings are now equipped with ramps. All the hotels mentioned above have accessible rooms, and Grayce Gardens is fully accessible.

What are the nearest airports?

You can fly to the Harrisburg International Airport (MDT), the Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI), or Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD). The latter two often have better bargains.

Can someone pick me up if I fly to a nearby airport?

If you need a ride from an airport, contact the organizers at [email protected] and we’ll do our best to find you one. People will be driving from Pennsylvania and neighboring states, and most likely someone will be glad to help you out.

What else is being planned?

We hope to have the camp memory book finished, which will be free to camp alumnae!  Souvenirs will also be available to purchase.

What if I know of someone else who went to camp and might be interested in the reunion?

We absolutely want to be in touch! But please don’t give out anyone’s contact information without permission. We created this website so people can find out about the reunion even if they aren’t on social media—please point them our way!

Is there a Facebook page?

Yes, there is.  This group is open to anyone who is an alumna of CRH. Join us in this private, members-only group to catch up with us all.  Click here

How can I help?

We’d love to have folks sign up to help with transportation, organize activities, give rides, and help with the banquet. Our immediate needs are for help identifying people in photos in our Gallery at [email protected]. We are also gratefully accepting financial donations at [email protected].

What if I have other questions?

We would be delighted to answer them.  Just email us at [email protected].
